About Us – RM89, Malaysia's Trusted Online Entertainment Platform of Choice

Who Is RM89?

For many Malaysians, the name RM89 is no longer just the name of an online platform. It has become part of their daily entertainment routine — where football fans look forward to the Malaysia Super League every week, where slots players explore the latest titles from world-class providers, and where e-sports enthusiasts place bets on their favourite MLBB teams during the M-Series.

RM89 was founded with a clear vision: to provide an online entertainment experience that truly understands Malaysian users — not just a generic international platform that ignores local needs and preferences. This is reflected in every aspect of our platform, from the interface language and supported deposit methods, to the game selection on offer and how we engage with our user community every day.

What started as a small platform focused on local sports betting has grown into a fully-fledged online entertainment destination — spanning over 500 games across six main categories. Throughout this journey, one thing has never changed: RM89's commitment to user security, game fairness, and a user experience that is continuously improved based on community feedback.

What Sets RM89 Apart from Other Platforms?

Malaysia's online entertainment market is filled with platforms from all over the world. Many arrive with offers that look attractive on the surface — big bonuses, lengthy game catalogues, and polished interfaces. But once you start using them, you realise they don't truly understand what Malaysian players are looking for.

RM89 took a different approach from the very beginning. We didn't simply translate an English platform into Bahasa Melayu and call it "Malaysia-friendly." We rebuilt the user experience from the ground up, taking into account how Malaysian players actually interact with online entertainment platforms — including their need for familiar deposit methods like Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, and FPX via Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks.

We also understand that Malaysian players have very different tastes. Some follow the Liga Super Malaysia passionately and only want to bet on JDT or Selangor FC matches. Others prefer to sit back, relax in front of the slots, and listen to music. Some only log in on Friday nights to grab a lucky lottery ticket. RM89 ensuring every type of player gets an equally great experience — not just high rollers or frequent players.

A Game Library as Diverse as Malaysia

Malaysia is a country rich in diversity — across culture, language, and entertainment preferences. RM89 celebrates that diversity by offering the widest possible range of games to suit every taste. Football fans can enjoy betting markets covering the Liga Super Malaysia, EPL, La Liga, Serie A, and over 30 football leagues from around the world. Badminton fans can follow Lee Zii Jia and fellow players through BWF World Tour tournaments with live betting odds updated every game.

For those who prefer casino-style games, RM89 offers live baccarat with real dealers from Evolution Gaming, the latest video slots from Pragmatic Play and PG Soft, and interactive Live Casino games like Crazy Time and Lightning Roulette that make the whole experience feel more social and exciting. Meanwhile, Malaysia's e-sports community — which grows bigger every year — can enjoy betting on MLBB, CS2, Valorant, Dota 2, and PUBG Mobile with deep markets and competitive odds.

From a small platform focused on local sports, RM89 has grown into Malaysia's most complete online entertainment destination.

RM89's Core Values

The principles that guide every decision we make as a platform

RM89's Commitment to Malaysian Players

If there's one thing RM89 wants Malaysian players to know about us, it's this: we're not just a platform looking to take your deposit and disappear. We want you to come back — not because we want more deposits, but because we want you to genuinely get value and worthwhile entertainment from every minute you spend on our platform.

This commitment shows in how RM89 handles every aspect of the business. When a member reports a technical issue during play, our support team doesn't just resolve it — we investigate the root cause and make sure the same problem doesn't affect other members. When a new game gains traction in the Malaysian slots community, we work to get it on the platform as quickly as possible. This is how we operate — responsive, attentive, and always putting player needs first.

Responsible Gaming – More Than Just a Slogan

RM89 takes responsible gaming seriously. We recognise that gambling can pose risks for some users, and we have a moral responsibility to ensure our platform does not become a source of harm for any individual.

That's why RM89 provides a comprehensive set of responsible gaming tools — daily and weekly deposit limits that members can set themselves, automatic play-time reminders, per-session loss limits, a temporary account suspension option for when you need a break, and full self-exclusion for those who need more serious support. All of these tools are accessible directly from the RM89 account settings page without needing to contact anyone — because we understand that privacy matters in situations like these.

RM89 believes that a good entertainment platform is one that keeps its users in control. RM89's long-term success depends on the trust of our members — and that trust can only be maintained when our members play safely, responsibly, and enjoyably. For those who need outside support, RM89 encourages you to reach out to Talian Kasih 15999.

RM89 and Malaysia's Growing Esports Community

One of the most exciting developments in Malaysia's entertainment ecosystem over the past few years has been the rapid growth of the e-sports industry. Malaysia now has MLBB, PUBG Mobile, and Valorant teams competing on the international stage, and the local esports fan community is maturing in both its understanding of and engagement with the industry.

RM89 has been — and continues to be — investing in its esports platform capacity to ensure the e-sports betting experience offered to Malaysian players is on par with the best esports platforms in the region. This means full coverage of the MLBB M-Series, VCT APAC, PGL Major CS2, Dota 2 The International, and the Malaysia National E-Sports Championship — with deep markets, competitive odds, and live betting updated every minute as matches unfold.

We also recognise that Malaysia's esports community has deep technical knowledge of the games they follow. This is a unique advantage Malaysian players hold over those from other markets — and RM89 strives to offer sufficiently detailed markets that allow these knowledgeable players to leverage their expertise when making smarter betting decisions.
